The Chicago Reader put this catchy headline on their cover this week: What Sort of Woman Reads Playboy, with a story profiling longtime Playboy magazine collector Peggy Wilkins, who also happens to run our Playboy Mailing List (which isn’t owned or operated by Playboy, but you can sign up here).

So this got us thinking: What sort of woman DOES read Playboy, and why? Whether she’s your girlfriend, wife or ex-lover—or maybe she’s you—why is she spending time on the pages of Playboy when she could be reading Glamour or People? Is it a particularly hot article or pictorial that really resonated with her? Is it because Playboy offers the male perspective? We already know why guys spend their time fingering the pages of Playboy every month; now we want to know why women love us!  Ask your girl to send us a paragraph telling us how long she’s been reading Playboy, why she loves it, what her favorite issue is and how Playboy has impacted her (and your) life. The best stories will be published online in the coming months.
